Loreal Prefrence Hair Color has wrong hair color in box - Loreal Prefrence light golden brown

I purchased a light golden hair color and my hair turned dark auburn. It was their preference brand. I need to re-die my hair after 10 days. I am the mother of the bride and I don't want to have my hair look bad. Does the company watch what box they put what color in? I have to used a different Loreal hair color to go from dark color to lighter color.
