On 9/13 while on the internet I saw an add for a free 10 day for SmileBrite teeth whitener. I fill out the form and enter my bank visa debit # to cover the $1.95 shipping cost and it stated that there was a balanceof $0. On 9/20/09 the SmileBrite came with no paperwork to cancel any further shipments. I checked my email to see if they sent me anything but they never sent it there. I knew there was a tracking # on the package so they would know when it arrived. While I was on my online banking 9/23/09. I see a amount of $92.37 come out under the name of VITAL NUTRITION 888-5444231 DE. When I called the 888 number I was told that it was for the SmileBrite I orderd on 9/13 when I explained that I have not had the product for 10 days yet and was still waiting on my email with a cancellation number for futher shipments and I thought it was a free trial and new nothing about a $92.37 charge and how they were able to just take money out of my bank without my concent. They told me that my free 10 day trail period started at the time that it is ordered not the time it is sent or arrives at my home. They also told me that they would send me an email with an address to send back for part refund for the unused portion and that it has to be back to them with in 30 days. I have called them 3 times to email me the address and still no email, I then asked them for the address over the phone I wrote down the address and sent it back and I had not even opened yet. I had to go down to my bank cancel my bank card file a report with visa and fill out a police report. After doing some research online I find that Im not alone at all with this. I guess at this point I'm wondering why the BBB has not stopped this internet fraud that has been going on for a while now I reported it to them but I see others have to. So now I will write the feds today. Please report this to the BBB the more complaints the faster the BBB will get of there buts and do there job.
