AcaiBerry
Scam

I too fell vitctim to the scam of AcaiBerry products and the "free trail". Unfourtunately I read the scam claims after I had already eneterd my debit card in for the trial of the pills. I purchased the product on 11/14/08 and did not receive the pills until 2 or so weeks later. I was charged the 9.95 and 30 cents for a transaction fee (which I later found out was b/c the product was from the UK). I took the product as directed and have not really noticed much results. BUT on 12/10/08 I found a charge on my debit for 88.62, I called the number provided (1-866-938-4832) and was disconnected several times unti lfinally reaching a person who mysteriously could not understand how I spelled my last name. I had to spell it at least 10-15 times. I disputed the claim and she said "so you no longer want any of our products?" and I said that is correct and I want my account credited for the 88.62, she gave me no cancellation number and then just hung up. I was nervous so I called Bank of America and put in a dispute for the charge (they were wonderful). I thought everything was ok and then 3 days ago I was looking at my account and noticed another charge from the AcaiBerry people for 94.57!!! I couldn't believe it, I called them immediately to only be disconnected on several tries. So I called Bank of America again and put in another dipsute against the charge. I have never received more products, nor did I want them... But I had no cancellation number b/c they just kept hanging up on me. So I just called the AcaiBerry number again and spent 25 minutes demanding to cancel my account and have confirmation of that. The phone representative said she could not cancel my account because the phone number I gave her did not match her records. Again I had to spell my last name (very common name with common spelling) and repeat my email/phone number a billion times. I was so frustrated she gave me her name this time (Kim Chang) but no cancellation number and then after all that time just hung up or "disconnected" with me! I was so nervous and frustrated that I just called Bank of America to actually cancel my debit card and get a new account number because I am not going to chance any more false charges on my account. This has been such a frustrating experience to me, I will spread the word to all to NEVER buy a product like this online and I hope this helps someone else.
