I bought a chihuahua that weighed 2lbs the day before i picked her up. The next day i bought her to the vet and she weighed 3lbs. There were so many issues that the vet had with this puppy. First of all the dog appears to be a japanese chin/chihuahua. There was a doubt that this puppy even was up to date on all her vaccinations. The dog was fed a diet of strictly broiled chicken which leads to malnutrition. We called purebreed and there response was so sad and heartbreaking. As long as the dog had no physical problems then the dog is fine. Now for some of the other issues... This dog has severe mental issues.in the two day we had her she has allowed us to pick her up twice. She runs away scared and starts shaking. She has been aggressive to my other dogs and even tried to nip at my 15 yr old daughter. She crys all night because she wont eat hard puppy food. This dog has broken my heart. Please do research before purchasing a dog from this company... I wish i had. I googled in reviews for this company and couldn't believe what i saw. According to a three month investigation conducted by the today show, purebreed was dealing with 168 puppy mills. Please watch this
investigation before you buy from this company. They are sugary sweet when choosing the puppy and paying. After the intial vet exam they will have nothing to do with your concerns. One supervisor actually hid from us for two days in a row. Shameful excuse of a person. I never wanted to ever buy from a puppy mill but these people are liars and very good ones i might add. Puppies born from puppy mills don't always show probelms until later in their life. Problems that will come with high vet expenses and sadness. They won't replace the dog because it is not "dead", and how do you replace a family member anyway. Stay clear away from this company. Buy from a reputable breeder in person, it is worth it. I have a poodle i bought three years ago. The breeder told me verbatim " a good breeder will always take back their puppy". I ask you purebreed will not take back the dog under very very limited circumstances... Are they a reputable breeder or a greedy company trying to make a fast buck off of innocent animals. These animals can't defend themselves... We need to do that for them. One way is not to keep funding puppy mills. Purebreed... How do you live with yourselves. Shameful!!! Also, check your state for lemon laws. When i bought this puppy i typed in my state and that company came up. Technically which state did i buy from??? The ad said it was the best in my state, but is located in florida hmmmmm...
