On 09/07 This morning after 10:00 My husband and I went to IHOP to eat We waited outside on the waiting list and as our number was getting close to being called we went in to sit by the Hostess podium We were next and our number was "Skipped" I asked the Hostess was our number skipped and she rudely said "That's because you asked for a booth" I replied oh that's why in response but after my response she replied "Yeah that's Why" in a rude tone I ignored the rude comment and waited for the booth we asked for I felt so embarrassed because their were two other Hostess that were standing with her at the podium that heard her speak to me in that manner and the time that we waited in front of them it was an awkward silence and I tried to keep my head down because the other Hostess were looking at me to see if I was offended and "I was" As we ate our food it seems as tho the Hostess that was rude stayed over by our table sweeping or speaking to other customers My feeling was she knew I wasn't okay with her rude attitude and as we left all of the Hostess that witnessed the incident were at the front where we exited They didn't say a word as we left
