BB&T has consistently misled me and charged me fees for nothing. I stopped the imagined overdraft protection when I realized they charged me 70.00 for $.08 and another 70.00 for another transaction that totaled under $5.00. They have consistently charged me from 170.00 to 300.00 a month in fees for the past 4 months.
This month there is a fee for 140.00, and I clicked on it to read that the fee is for "zero transactions for zero dollars," and another for 70.00 that states "zero transactions and zero dollars."
I am disabled and know they are taking advantage of that. I have called the 800 number and the branch, where I was not helped to understand the reason for the charges, just assured that they are legal. BB&T has put me in a bad position with their fees. Please help!
