Fairbanks bought our contract without any written documents from either company. They took over in april. I have a head injury, and breast cancer. My focus was off, and fell behind payment. Was called repeatedly, and harassed about breast cancer and head injury. Was called a baby because I had cried about what they were doing. Went to refinance through another company and was charged over $8000.00 in interest, and prepayment penalty, plus would hold $1,100 in a retainment.
Our loan was $125.600, and payoff was $137,600, with one month behind payment. The company told us to get an attorney to fight them for fraud, and harassment. They called repeatedly and harassed me. When they bought our contract we were not told of the change, and we sent a payment, and was not reported. They have threatened to foreclose on our home. We are selling our home just to get rid fo this company.
