On 8/28 DCS contacted me regarding a debt to Va. That I settled (1995) in court and paid in monthly payments from 1995 to 1998. They gave til 9/2 to make payment of 52797.47 from debt I settled for 6247.57 thru plea bargain to court. I wrote contesting debt and have not heard back yet. The letter I received doesn't give any detail and I'm not sure what I'm contesting. I filed a complaint to FTC and BBB and company has not responded to either as of yet. We need to get a lawyer and file another class action suit against this company. They have already lost numerous class action lawsuits and from what I'm reading they need to have another one filed against them. Also never send them any money because that is admitting you owe at least part of debt they are trying to collect.
