I received a call from American Cash Awards telling me I had won $1,5000.00 in cash and a new 2013 Mercedes SL automobile. All I had to do was send them $199.00 and go to Walgreens to get a Green Dot Money card, leaving my cell phone on and telling them when I had it. They asked me to scratch off the back and tell them the numbers.
When I got home they called back and said I had to pay the tax on it and also the release charges, another $10,000.00. They put the Department of Revenue on the phone with me and said they needed that money so they could release the car to me. I was to go to the bank for the money, and I did so. I took out a personal loan for the amount. Then they told me to go and get Green Dot money cards to send the money to them. I wasted the rest of the day getting the money cards needed while a Mr. Green waited on the phone while I gave him the numbers as I got them.
I thought I was finished with that when I got another call from a Mr. Jefferson stating I needed another $10,000.00 to get the money. I told him I did not have it. He said if I could get another $4,000.00, I could have the package delivered. I went to the bank and drained my bank account to do it, took it to Chase Bank like I was told, and deposited it to a David Brown account (account number removed). I received another call and was told by Mr. Jefferson that I needed more money, another $10,000. I told him that I had given enough and that I did not have anywhere to get more. I then asked for all my money back. I know I have no chance of getting it back.
He is still calling me and telling me that the car and money WILL BE DELIVERED TODAY if I can get the rest of it, or as much as I can get. I told him I wouldn't. He keeps calling me and I cannot get rid of him. I have learned a very valuable lesson the hard way.
