I purchased a mobile home located in a park restricted to residents over 55. About a month after moving in, I noticed it was damp underneath. My realtor reminded me that we had a homeowners warranty. When I got in touch with Fidelity National, I was told a Roto-Rooter plumber would be sent to repair it. The plumber examined the water pipe's color and asked if he could use my phone. Once he finished talking with someone, he passed the phone to me, and the voice on it said the pipe was excluded from coverage. The pipe is plastic and was recalled at some time. I asked them to show me the data. They were unable to, and next called it a design deficiency. They absolutely refused to stand behind the warranty, and insisted that I give the plumber $40.00 for informing me they would not cover any work. So my pipes continue to leak. I believe it is a sham.
