Recently I needed to get my carpet cleaning and decided to call Stanley Steamer. I had a coupon for a basic $44 service. I was surprised when their employee arrived in a bit up truck (not their yellow truck as advertised) After that the employee quote me for a small two bedroom apartment $200. When according to Stanley Steamer is was supposed to be only $40. On top of that he wanted to pay him upfront.
This is not the first time something like has happened. I heard similar stories from friends as well.
