I was charged for 2 months for this service, which I DID NOT sign up for. These companies might be the same place doing business under several different names.
In the fall of 2002, Yahoo! Store began a "business arrangement" with Webloyalty. Stores that use Yahoo as their host have advertisements on the checkout page when you are confirming your order. I believe that when you confirm your order, your bank information or credit card number is SOLD to these companies without you having to do anything.
If you just X out their box, that is considered a YES! You have to answer NO! I guess some of the ads offer $10.00 off your next purchase or some kind of 30 day free trial. Do not fall for these scams.
They play the law of averages, that a lot of people will not notice these charges to their accounts. Please, will someone look into this practice? I have emailed Yahoo, but they have not responded to my questions.
