I bought a cell phone from MSN Mobile and was promised a full purchase price rebate and a free Bluetooth headset. After 5 inquiries and threatening legal action, I finally got the headset.
I made more than 5 inquiries to MSN Mobile and cellphonerebates.com about my rebate, to no avail. I sent in 3 different submissions. They claimed the first one was "lost in mail," the second was "illegible," and the third was "submitted after the acceptable time frame."
The reason it was 2 days late was that I kept getting rejected for ridiculous and false reasons, just so they could have an excuse to delay sending my rebate. I sent all the appropriate information every time, so now I am out $170 (the amount of the rebate).
