I didn't even make it to the seminar yet... I read the horrible reviews and wanted to cancel within my 3 business days; however, I can not even do that. Here's my story:
On March 17 I purchased admission to a seminar to be held April 1,2 and 3. There's a 3 business day right to cancel which must be submitted on a cancellation form. I was never given that form nor can I locate it anywhere on the internet. I have tried calling a total of 17 times so far (and will continue to do so tomorrow), left 5 messages on two different numbers and emailed my request to cancel twice with both emails coming back as undeliverable. Tomorrow, March 22 will be my 3rd business day and after that, according to their agreement, I cannot cancel. I feel as though I have been scammed and BUT I will get my money back one way or another.
I can provide a copy of the agreement with the cancellation policy on it as well as the kicked back emails and times I called. I also spoke to someone, Beverly in Tax Liens and Deeds which is a different division of the company, who tried calling and emailing them as well, on my behalf. She had to leave a message but asked that they consider my cancellation request as of 3/21 and that they call me back immediately. I have not received a call back and do not expect to since this is the same action I have been taking on my own with no avail.
I have also reported them to my state's Attorney General, disputed the charge with my bank, and my next stop is BBB. All I wanted was eduction on Real Estate and was more than willing to pay 1497.00 for it... Too bad it turned out this way!
I hope everyone does their research and reads this BEFORE making a payment to them!
