I bought a 32" Polaroid HDTV on June for $525.00. Soon after 2 yrs it ceased operating. I called Polaroid (800-765-2764). The repetition, Spirit, after seeking me to plug-down and plugin it, stated the "handle device" is finished and it'll charge $250.00 to displace. They required me to obtain the "cell modification number." After I named, the repetition (Niva) requested me to appear inside it utilizing a torch and discover the amount inside. She stated, "recall you're searching within the Television through the rear screen." I could not find any amount. Next repetition, Eric, stated "I might need to take away the back-panel" and declined to provide me directions just how to get it done. Somehow, I eliminated the rear cell (trust me, it had been very hard with a number of different screws) and also the control device. There have been four figures within the Television included in the handle device and back-panel. I wrote them along and named again—none were the modification range! Lastly, after many conversations with Denise, Sheila and Spirit, and Ty, I had been requested to determine all of the figures that I came across about the control device. Today I'm waiting significantly more than six hours to get a senior specialist to provide me a phone having a probable fit. Additionally I then found out the folks I've been speaking with will work for Delta Century, NJ. They declined to provide me the handle. Polaroid is deliberately promoting a faulty item having a faulty control device so they may market both products or money-in. It wasn't employed by over 8 weeks and that I have invested hours and hours with repetitions, stopping it. Just one repetition, Ty was useful other were rude. I counsel you to not purchase any Polaroid items.
