Not good business practices

I bookex a hotel for the Superbowl in New Orleans thru hotelplanner.com. I received a confirmation from them. Something tilf me to call the hotel and they said I do not have a reservation do I callrd hotelplannet and they reemailed the confirmation. I called hotelplanner and they said they would call hotel. I was put on hold and when they came back they said Idont have a reservation becaudr I made the reservation too earlu.

Ok so if that is true why did they send me confirmation? I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for more than an hour after which Vanessa came on the line and said a supervisor would call me back within the hour that was more than 24 hrs ago. My thing is how about if I haf showed up at the hotel and was told no reservation. They are schisters
