Been ripped off by a scam artist who specialises as a travel agent to India. His name is mike/manoj/M.A. Maqdoom or Amandou Nbaye. Posts ads in indian express or other newspapers. His adress was 1301 Hempstead Turnpike, Suite 2, Elmont, Ny - 110003

I wired money to him for tickets to India to a wellsfargo bank to M.A. Maqdoom. But he cancelled our booking and did not send us tix or money. On further calling, he sent us a check from Washington Mutual from Amandou Nbaye, which was a closed a/c.
So I have wired him 2200$ and he has not given me any ticket and all his nos. Are disconnected. The whole thing was a fraud I have filed police complaint but wanted to know what recourse I have to get my hard earned money back.
I want this guy to be caught. This person is possibly of Indian descent with a Jamaican accent. Police think he could also be somewhere in Carribean/West Indies. Pl help me stop this guy from defrauding others. Time is of essence, which authority can help. I have posted on FBI white collar site too.
