In november i went into a ski swap meet in buffalo ny and they had a table at the front entrance to sign up to win a free vacation.interested enough i filled out the form. A couple days later i received a phone call from Oasis Travel services stating that i was the winner of 4 glorious vacations. She explained the trips would be 4 days 3 nights to orlando fl with arabian dinner passes, 3 days 2 nights to daytona beach fl, a bonus getaway 3 day 2 night from our list of bonus destinations and a bonus2 night bahamas cruise. Sounds all so good right. Well while searching for the website i came across a post on this website and it was exactly what i had happen to me. Its now march 25 and i am going to call the number tomorrow and also send a letter requesting the cancellation of my so called "winnings" and i will email oasis and quote the same quote from the BBB
"Keep in mind with regard to cancellations: the entire amount involved is refundable. Unehtical sellers of travel may over to refund all but a certain amount, but they are require to refund the full amount paid to the seller of travel, if the consumer cancels the vacation package, in writing and returns the vacation package, within 30 days of purchase or receipt of the vacation package."
