On the night of 30 January I made an online reservation for the Savannah suites in Savannah, Georgia. I entered the date incorrectly, I immediately called the hotel directly and no one answered the phone. After several attempte, I waited until the morning of January 31st and called again.
When Traci, the manager at the Savannah facility answered, I explained that I had wanted to make reservations for Mar 31 through Apr 4, but had mistakenly entered the dates. My card had been charged for one night and I asked if she could either refund the one night or credit it toward the 5 night stay that I had planned for later.
Traci not only refused to help me in any way with that, but when I asked her for the phone number for the corporate office, she said (in a not so nice tone) all the phone numbers I needed were on the website. The only phone number on the Savannah location website was the one on which I had called her.
I lookep up the corparate website, which is in Nigeria, and has no toll free number for you to call. I immediately sent them an email and have not had a response, so, I am out the cost of 1 nights stay.
I mean, does it make any sense to anyone that you would be miles away at 11:30 PM making a reservation for to stay in a hotel that same night?
