Rent our timeshare in Mexico and collected escrow fees

I was contacted by this company about renting our timeshare in Mexico for 6 weeks. They put us onto an escrow company which collected fees. I now have read several reports from others who have been put through this scam. Apparently, all of the complaints are showing up now so when I searched months ago, nothing had been reported.
There is no one answering the main number to this company. The "agent" is not returning any calls.
I have made numerous calls to the escrow company and have not received any call back. Both companies are working together.
