Unfortunately I did not read any background information about this "Nation Research Group" before I answered their survey. I am a skeptical person when it comes to "Free Giveaways", but since none of my bank or credit card information was requested, I decided to answer the survey questions.
Like the other reports on here about this group, after answering the quick survey someone came on the line (after "The Captain" was done giving his cheesey lines) and asked for my name and email, and that was it. As soon as I got off the phone I checked my email, logged in to the page and confirmed my phone number and zip code.
But as my skepticism grew I tried clicking on the links for the company and cruise info. None of the sites work. I can't even find a website for the company called "National Research Group". Silly me for not doing my homework before I give out my email and phone number.
It's not what I would consider a serious scam, since no bank or credit card info is obtained, but harrassing people with telemarketing calls is pretty darn annoying. I hope this report stops someone else from being bombarded with emails and phone calls from this bogus company.
I learned my lesson!
