Hi my name is Tania *, I was listening to the radio 105.7 FM in Belmont Ca., this is a Latin radio station part of Univision. This happen on October 31. They said to call the radio to participate on a contest well I call and I "won a vacation hotel for two for Vegas 3 nights, Orlando 4 nights and Daytona 2 nights".
This was all a lie I did not won anything I was naive and the lady on the phone told me to lie and say that I was 25 years old of course, that part was not recorded. I wasn't 25 but I did say I was but because she told me to lie when they ask me again since I was exited that I won vacations I said I was.
Well now I been searching online and there are hundreds of complaints about this company from all over the country different states from different radios; some people went to the vacation hotels and they still had to pay taxes and other fees at the end they spend more money, also they said they were rude to them and that they had a terrible time the people were very pushy, other people cancelled their credit card before it got charge, others just lost their money like me I paid them $345.00 of course when I call they said that it is no refundable that I can sell the package to somebody else.
I can't believe that nobody controls this how can big companies like a public radio part o a channel Univision can do this to innocent, working people like me. I hope this does not happen to more people i wondering what can I do to close down this business and I think that Uni vision and anybody else who supports this company and this kind o frauds should be punish by the law. By the way I'm still not 25. And I guess I could book the vacation but I honestly do not want to have a bad time on my "vacations" besides after reading the complaints I realize there is no point on calling them because they don't even respect the dates you choose for the trip.
Please somebody help me and everybody else get their money back and close down this fake business there, are so many people for all over the country who has been scam. If there is any good lawyer reading this please help me and other innocent people.
