Horrible service and misleading

In August I purchased 2 round trip tickets for my fiancee and I to go to Ft Lauderdale to visit his dad. The trip was scheduled for the end of November. I paid close to $500 for each round trip ticket as it was a non stop flight from Las Vegas.

A few days before the departure I checked my itinerary to find that they had changed my flight to a nonstop with a transfer in Detroit! Not only did I not receive any notification that this had happened (although they swear they did) I also received no refund for the difference between a non stop and a transfer flight. When we got the the airport the night of our departure we were informed that our flight had been canceled. We managed to get on a flight that night but not untill 2:30 in the morning instead of the 10:50pm departure we were supposed to have.

We ended up getting into Ft Lauderdale 6 hours after our original scheduled arrival. This caused us to miss aspects of our planned vacation and basically took almost a whole day away from us. And the airlines had nothing to say about it. They had nop excuse or reason and they refused to accomodate us in any way.

Spirit has the worst customer service and the worst flightx ever, do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs. I will never fly this airline agin, even if it was the last one operating!
