Mislead and non-responsive Charleston South Carolina

We entered into this transaction because Festiva Resorts said that they would take our Marriott Fairway Villas timeshare as a credit against the sale price. They said the title would have to be clear before they could take it in trade. We told them we could not afford to pay it off. They arranged for a credit line with Interval International (credit card). We did not understand that this line of credit would be a credit card.

Marriott would not accept a credit card as payment. Therefore we could not get clear title to our timeshare at Marriott Fairway Villas Resort.

We've tried unsuccessfully to contact Carlos Ribeiro. We've tried phone messages and e-mail to no avail. Carlos did send us a duplicate resort package but has not answered our communications.

We have received communication from a loan portfolio specialist informing us that they will be debiting a credit card monthly for all future installments. Our e-mail to Carlos stated that since we couldn't get clear title to Marriott Fairway Villas timeshare, we could not consummate the deal. We further requested he return our deposit. We have not heard from Carlos.

Your help in resolving our situation is greatly appreciated.
