It was so hard for me to research this company before I joined. As you have noticed by now, when you google YTB scam, all the results are from people that just love it and are willing to sign you up below them.
I ended up joining not to hound and pester all my friends and family to join under me but to enjoy cheap travel. ZERO discounts or upgrades as of yet. Some of the fine print they don't tell you аbout: "Terms & Conditions: This offer is available ONLY to certified CLIA, ACTA, or IATAN full time travel agents who have confirmed a minimum of 4 bookings with Holland America Line in the last year to date."
And recently, the travel industy got tired of the all the phoney travel agents using YTB cards and revoked their travel numbers.
A recent story in the LA times: http://travel. Latimes.com/articles/la-tr-insider25nov25
and from yet another source:
http://www.worldwidescam.info/astavsytb.htm So much for their story line of "getting in on the ground floor" True, they have been around for about six years but thats the average for pyramid schemes before they collapse. For those of you that have already been ripped off and it's to late to file a chargeback with your credit card company, report your loss to the St. Louis BBB. YTBCultbegone!!
