Around July a fax came through at my office offering a package trip to Orlando, Cocoa Beach, and bonus trip to the bahamas for $199 per person. I called the number provided purchased two packages for a total of $452 which was immediately charged to my credit card. I was told that I had 2 years to use the trip vouchers. Several weeks later, I received the travel package in the mail with the travel vouchers for the 3 trips.
For the 3 months, I have been trying to contact Florida Enterprises, which after many hours of searching wasinformed that the Florida Tourist Bureau took over the company. I have not received any response from them, there email is invalid, I cannot find a valid phone number, the website is a joke and my emails are returned as "failed deliver". I left several messages and none of my calls have been returned. After finding the other reports on this company on usacomplaints.com today, I realize that I too have indeed been ripped-off. I have not yet spoken to the credit card company, but assume that since the charge was made 2 years ago, they won't be able to do anything about it.
If anyone has any information to follow-up on or lawsuit against these companies... Please report. Thank you.
