Four of us booked to go on what we had hoped would be a trip of a lifetime to the Grand Canyon, flying over the Hoover Dam. We chose Looktours because their website promised that the planes for the tour would carry a maximum of 18 people, and all were assured of a window seat with a large window for the best possible views of the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. We were also informed that great photo opportunites would be afforded through these very large windows.

We were very upset that the plane our tour was allocated, did not in fact have large, picture windows, but just small porthole type windows through which only a very obscure view could be obtained and, certainly, no clear photographs.
As regards the seating in the plane, this comprised of both window AND aisle seats, from which views out of the window were severely restricted.
We also were not provided with headsets to give the audio commentary which we had been promised but, worst of all, the plane did not fly over the Hoover Dam as promised and no reason was given for this.
After this considerable time (we travelled in July) and numerous emails, most of which remain unanswered, we have been offered $25 each as recompense.in light of our great disappointment we feel this sum does not go far enough towards compensating us for spoiling what should have been the highlight of our trip to America.
