Auction Arms
Failed to verfiy information on selle

I was the high bidder on an gun being sold through the Auction Arms site. I had used this site before without any problems, and I felt confident that the sellers were legit based on the "screening process" that Auction Arms supposedly used.

After I sent payment via a U. S Postal Service money order, I checked back on the Auction Arms site and found out that the Seller's account had been suspended. After several attempts, I finally received word from Auction Arms that the seller was basically commiting identity theft and running a scam. Thanks for the warning. Would have been real nice to know that before payment was sent.

So, for anybody out there looking to make a quick, crooked buck, all you have to do is sign up as a seller on Auction Arms, list an item for sale, collect payment by U.S. Postal Serivce money order, pocket the cash, and move onto the next victim. Two words of caution. First, make sure you require a Postal Service money order, because believe me, the Post Office is no help in assisting the buyer in this transaction. Second, don't sell to anyone within a 200 mile radius. Any closer and you might wind up with a disgruntled customer on your doorstep. My seller was 2000 miles away-not worth the time and effort to stomp his head into the ground-although it is tempting.
