I received an email from this company offering a risk-free evaluation of their golf clubs. I would only have to pay shipping and handling, according to the email. The truth is quite different.
I talked to Dan. Dan is really rude. He elected to say my name by dragging it out with a sneer once I started asking questions. He explained that they would send three clubs which, if I decided to keep, would cost $133 each. I asked him what the up-front costs would be. He said, "I told you that ten seconds ago..." What he told me was that "if I decided to keep..." Clearly, this was no "risk-free" evaluation as you have to pay all costs up front. Also, considering the polished customer service skills of the company, I can only guess at what lengths one would have to go to in order to receive a refund. Further, although the conversation terminated before getting there, I wonder what kind of shipping charges (and other provisions) might be tagged on. BTW, I've kept their original email for comparison with the "facts".
Bottom line, please be very wary of any dealings you might consider. If you have a hunch that all is not clear and honest, don't risk YOUR money. Imho
