Promised to Waive Cancellation Fee and than took it anyways

I called into the company when we made the move to Minnesota, and was told to suspend my account until I found out if I could have Satellite at the apartment complex. So that was the first step, I suspended my account.

I got to Minnesota and checked with my apartment complex and was told they do not allow anything attached to the building because of the age of the building as it could do permanent damage to the structure. So I called back into the company and was told that if I had a company of the lease and a letter from management I would need to send it in and they would waive the cancellation fee.

I mailed the letter and the pages of my lease and never heard a word from them. To my surprise they took the cancellation fee from my account and put my bank account into the negative and now my bank is charging me fees.

I have contacted all of the people named above and have been told that the employees that told me the fee would be waived lied to me and that, just because my apartment complex doesn't allow it on their buildings is not a good enough reason for them to waive the fee.

They have been rude and not at all helpful with resolving this issue and I just do not want for anyone else to fall into the traps of lies that they tell people and then go into their bank accounts to take money. All I want is my money back and the fees the bank has charged me, since they did not have my authorization to take the cancellation fee as it was suppose to be waived.
