A little research and you would not have been taken by this well known scam. That is what they count on, the ones who just send in money, they estimate at 11-40%. Maria Duval has had thousands of reports listed here in the past, and don't know where they went. That company went by different names as well. She sold the company to a group of China chinese in 1997, along with client personal information.
They are trying to recoup money now.

This is a worldwide, longstanding scam, the chinese now use her name in their company as a cover.
She is thought to be a 'real' psychic in france, originally born in Italy.
There is much information on the internet on this scam, the company names and people involved. It used to be listed here. Not sure why it isn't.
