I received a letter from EL Gordo Lottery Sweepstake Company SL in May mentioning that I won $216,846.34c. Thay had phone number, fax number and I called them and somehow those people convensed me that they are real.
After i faxed my information to them they later asked me transfer charges from Banco Santander 1.65% of my total winning money which was $3,577.95c. I paid that much money.
Again after few days they were asking me IVA tax of $4,115 before sending their money to my account.
After having conversation about IVA tax I discovered that one they cannot be real and I just had to forget about that painful experience.
Again in 2004 on 9/21/04 I received exactly same kind of letter from EL Gordo Lottery, Madrid Spain that I won $615,810.00 witth different people's name and address on it.
They are telling me that I will have to pay $1250 charges to get this money. I called them and they said they are owned by government of spain. Their address is Plaza De Colon E-28830 Madrid, Spain. Phone 34 665 014 362. I definitely dont want lose any single doller this time but the way they were pronouncing english I just thought they can not be real.
