In November, 1999 I relocated back to New Jersey. I moved into my house and started moving the dining set around because I was not happy with the set up.in moving items around I broke the left side glass panel. I contacted Stainsafe because I purchased the extra warranty.
In December the nightmare started I had been calling every single day trying to get some resolution. They had several excuses, we shipped the glass, 3 tims and the glass was broken during delivery. I could not talk to a representative I was placed on hold for 20 - 30 minutes everytime I called. When the representative called me back they would not live a direct number. I have been calling them everyday twice day.
Stainsafe told me to go to a glass company and found out how much it would cost to replace the panel. The Glass stores told me because I have a special italian engraving on the panel they would not be able to duplicate the pattern. I contact Stainsafe and provided the information. I explain to the representaive I did not want mix match glass panel. It would damage the look of the dining room set.
The represtative told me to go to a furnture to look for another china cabinet like kind I went to several furniture stores and faxed them a copy of the china cabinet with a picture and price. The representative told me the price was too high. I went back to the glass store and they advised they would change all the panels in the china cabinet and add a type of etching. I faxed the information to Stainsafe back in and I am still calling every single day. I got in touch with someone today and was advised they closed my filed because I was uncooperative. I ask them to re-open my file in order for me to get the glass panel repaired. The representative told me I had to write a letter and an arbitration would be held.
My dining room set is ruined and I'm not able to get any satisfaction from Stainstafe. I paid extra money for this warranty and it turned out to be a BIG RIP OFF COMPANY.
