Gary Garrett accepted money to build a driveway but never finished the jo

Gary Garrett accepted $12,300 to build a driveway and sidewalk at our home. He began the work on June 26 and still did not have it completed by July 16. My efforts to get him to complete the work resulted in lie after lie from him. He completed approximately 1/3 of the work. On July 23, we took over the contracting and hired Gary's workers to finish the job. Gary promised all that week to return $3,000 of our money (the amount we needed to complete the job), but we never received the money. Now, he does not answer his cell phone nor his home phone. We also found out he has a criminal record and was arrested in Smith County, Texas, for the same offense.
