I am writing this report for the public as per NJDL reports and complaints are not visible in any way for public discretion.
I am going to touch on some of the previous complaints i read to re-establish some credibility for this company, however, shed light on a couple even more-so unethical and deceptive business practices undergone by the owner of this company.

Yes, this is sales, it is impossible to tell whether someone is going to be the next sham-wow guy by looking over their resume. You could simply be fresh out of high school and sell better then a phD.
Reported to the BBB (funny):
A. You file complaints with the BBB you do not "report" owners of businesses to the BBB do not lie it is distasteful
B. I found this response extra humorous as the BBB only handles consumer complaints not employee/business conflicts, that gets taken up with the Labor Board or the NJ Division of Civil Rights
Scammed into working for free:
No. You are prompted prior to going out on the all-day observation day in which you observe a rep on the job all day to see if the type of work is savvy to you. You are given the option of going that day if your day is open or to go on a day of your choosing. And i got paid 50$ for this on my first check which is fair but i would not have gotten paid for it if i did not stick to the job, which makes it more of a boss/employee bonus rather than actual pay.
Permit issues:
This is the first completely true post. The owner has no permits for any areas in New Jersey and only pays for the fines incurred by his employees upon his discretion. This entire job variable is not revealed to newly hired employees whatsoever.
Personal views:
You never know what you are going to get paid. You can have off the charts input but your output is based solely on a third party. Very stressful and distasteful payment method. However, there are those that are comfortable already and do not have to worry and/or receive a steady paycheck because they were born for this kind of work, of which there are a VERY select few but it does happen which goes along with why they accept anybody with 0 discretion into their "management training program".
Extremely long days. Notice I said days, not 'work' days. Because you only work for a total of about 7 hours on Average, however, you are committing to a 12 hour day as you have to go to the office in the morning for the morning "atmosphere" and you drive all over the place and you have to return to the office at the end of the day for the evening "atmosphere"; all of which prove to be an uncompensated expenditure on an unreliable income. All in the meantime you can still get soliciting fines on top of it all.
And finally my chief complaint which will be followed by the simple tarnish of a companies name or litigation; During my final weeks of employment at the Wave Advertising Group company, i had a mere two checks left coming in. One of which the owner was very respectful and actually paid me a day early and wrote out a personal check to me. He had told me that day that i had one more check coming in next week for 180 dollars. I acknowledged and he signed the check and i went on my way. He had asked me two or three days later if i wanted my final check mailed to me or if i wante to pick it up myself. I told him if he could mail it that would be great. So payday rolls around and i had texted him a couple times with no response if he had mailed it. He never got back to me til two days later saying that it wasnt for this week it was for the following week, meaning two weeks away from my previous not one. I said ok no big deal just mail it then. So then that next week rolls around and i repeatedly try to get ahold of him as he ignores every attempt i had at contacting him. I finally got ahold of him 5 days later when i just called the office instead of his personal cell phone. This guy tries to tell me that he had never told me that i was getting a check and he didnt know what i was talking about. I said then why did you tell me that i was and he continued to deny that he did and said he would "Look into it". I felt so disrespected it took me no more than two minutes to text him saying that i was going to contact the New Jersey Labor Board and have them take care of his arrogance for me. Only then after a few more texts did he say that he looked at his records and it showed that i did get paid that week and he was 'surprised' i didnt get the check.in which case he said he would have it voided and have another sent to me. I put the Labor Board filing on hold and it has been two weeks now with no check. I tried getting ahold of him today and sternly told him to get back to me today about this issue. To no surprise he did not and unfortunately for him everything is back in motion with the Board and i am going to do everything in my power to copy and paste this entire report to every single company review website i find on the net and i am having a friend of mine create a website with a very similar URL address and this is going to be the front and only page. I am insulted and beside myself as the people i had worked with had been such great guys and i had never once before had a single issue with the owner until I am... Not making any MONEY for him anymore... Funny.
I have documented every single text message between me and the owner of which he is going to look extremely ridiculous, a complete liar, manipulative, and the creator of a self mockery of his own company, from an ethical standpoint at least.
This job, for those who are interested in door-to-door sales is strictly for those who already have a job and want something part time where they can make a few extra bucks; other then that this is not something i would remotely recommend to anyone as a full time job. There are other offices that do this same work i would recommend if interested any office other than Wave Advertising Group based out of Tinton Falls, NJ.
