I own a small Salon & Spa. A Sales Rep. From this company stated they could guarantee a tremendous savings over what our current processor was charging. One percent per swipe, no statement fee, no minimum fee. I told her we do not take American Express. She said all transactions would be 1 percent and the only one higher would be Amex Corp. Card. Since we elect to not take it then I figured ok. I also told her in 8 yrs in business we have not used a pin pad for debit cards so did not need one. I also had my own credit card machine but she said they could not support it and I would have to get one from them at $65 a month for 4 yrs. I took her word on the rates she quoted. Machine was delivered last day in April. I received a call from their Ca. Office to set up and run test. Two days later account charged outrageous charges for the month of April. The machine was not used until May 2nd. Sales rep. Will not return calls. Customer service will not return calls or credit accounts. We were not given copies of contracts. They could not locate them. We have not rec'd statements showing breakdown of charges. We've been billed now for May also. Finally got their legal dept.involved. They were able to produce copies of contracts. Still no statements. I found one contract had my signature forged and others rates where charges were crossed out and white-out applied and rates put back in. I told Their Legal Dept. I wanted all new contracts as promised. A rep. From the legal office contacted my but had no clue what was going on. Did not even have my file or any correspondence in front of him. We were unable to get anything settled.
Payment Systems is the most unethical company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I have advised their Legal Dept. That under the circumstances I want out of all contracts and Lease with no fines and penalty. This problem has been going on now for a month and a half. I still have not received any credit or received confirmation that they are working on releasing me from all obligation.
I regret having to file this report but I am at my wits end. I hope no one else falls victim to this company as I have.
