Move Management are a broker who hire Moving firms to perform the move.in our case they hired Atlas Van Lines who did a great job. If I were to do this again, I would work directly with Atlas and not hire a broker as in my experience they appear to be much cheaper, provide better service and far better expectation management
Move Management experience:
- Failed to respond to us for approx two months, in the meantime charged us for storage and we had to pay to extend furniture rental and other costs of not having our home goods
- Charging us over $12,000 for the move, we estimate MM overcharged us by at least $3000 (have requested MM to provide itemized breakdown that disproves this)
- We only know this as they refused to pay Atlas for performing the move, leaving us liable to pay another $4,000 (read the fine print)
This resulted in me:
- Raising a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (MM claim to have a technical issue and that is why they havent responded)
- Working with Atlas to encourage MM to make payment
- Contacting a lawyer and sending the email copied below which eventually resulted in MM making payment

This is a notification to pay Atlas $3,447.33 and once Atlas confirms payment we will send a check for the remainder of $935.
In event you do not do so, I am going to contact Dade County district attorney consumer protection department to initiate fraud charges.
I will send a physical copy of this email serving as a demand letter pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws chapter 93A. With this email (to be provided in letter) I am notifying you that if you fail to pay Atlas within the next 5 business days, due Thursday 29th March I may pursue legal action against you and your company [Elocate Logistics Consultants, Inc dba LTV International Removals dba Move Management International] for reimbursement of all damages as a result of Move Managements failure to comply with the terms our agreement and Move Managements unfair and deceptive business practices. Pursuant to Chapter 93A Move Management will be responsible for paying all costs and expenses, including attorney and travel expense, that I incur as a result in pursuing an action against Move Management. Move Management will be obligated to pay three times (3x) the damages I incur.
