Last year at the end of the season, we put a down payment on an 18ft doughboy pool which was already on a discount because it was a close out pool from the year before. Well after a year of saving and getting the plot of survey and talking with village offices, we called them to see what we needed to do to payoff the rest of the pool and get it going...
We were told that the price of the pool was now doubled because he didn't add in the "package items"...!!! We them told him that we didn't really care about flowties and the extras and that all we needed was the pool and the filter which were part of the deal we agreed upon last year. He then told us the filter system was not included either!!!
Needless to say, we went into the store to resolve the issue (get our refund back) and move on... We get to the store and this snoty sales guy starts telling my girlfriend and I how we didn't remember what was said, like the two of us remembered the same thing and pictured the same place the conversation took place wrong. Never the less, we were told they would not give us a refund to our credit card or cash to replace us the deposit... Only in store credit.
Accually we were told by the snoty sales guy " You could use it toward an umbrella or something". While all this is going on, THE OWNER walks right by as we were at the point of yelling in the store and does NOTHING!!! Really??? Is that how the owner deals with his bussiness??? Anyways, looking to find some other people that got screwd here so we can start a class action suit because we later found out that a family friend was also in the same place of getting screwd on the warrenty they got through these guys. Their pool started rotting out in the walls in just 5 years and havn't been able to get them to do anything (not even call them back) for almost 2 months!!!
Just a shamefull!!!
