On a late Tuesday afternoon, I was searching through my local newspaper in hopes of finding a new job. I noticed an ad looking for general help for a new office opening. So, I called the eight hundred number and was called in for an interview that very same day.
I arrived, walked into the fairly furnished office and was redirected to a small room to fill out a "Get to know you" paper. I was the first of two people to be called in for the very brief interview.
A young man dressed formally asked me limited questions and told me that I was basically what they were looking for. He asked me to come in on Thursday for a second interview. Like the ad in the newspaper, he told me that for this administrative assistant job, I needed no experience, and would be trained.
I came home the next day and decided to browse the internet to see what I could find out about this company called, " Bayside Enterprises." Come to find out that this company has been scamming people in other states.
By reading the webpage, I saved some time and did not proceed to the second interview.
