We hired Sylvia M Scott of Freeman Freeman & Smiley in Los Angeles to address a securities fraud investigation. Sylvia Scott had an impressive appearing resume, however looking back now she did not appear to know very much. She promised a quick fix rellying on her contacts at FINRA. We agreed and hired her firm to take care of this matter. Well after months of going nowhere, and hundreds of unanswered messages we left we force to file a complaint with the state bar and usacomplaints.com.
I did some additional investigation, which I should have done from the start. It turns out her "contacts" at the FINRA wants nothing to do with her. Surprisingly Sylvia M. Scott has a reputation of taking credit for other peoples work and no one there would spit on her if she was on fire.
