The first of May I booked a move with Chris Fusco at moving cost after searching online for a mover. Today is June 1, I spent the whole day trying to contact and find out where my movers were.
They told me that was just an estimate of when they would pick up my things— they could not guarantee a date. Then they said they could not find a carrier. Then they said it was hard to get a carrier to go to South Carolina.
Of course, they gladly took my $800.00 deposit and assured me there wouldbe no problem being here on June 1— and today (June 1) they suggested I start checking around for another carrier myself.
So, now I am here in my apartment, paying by the day to stay here. I had to have my electrcity, water and phone turned back on, because I have no idea when I can move.
I have to be in Nebraska to start a job and I have bought airline tickets for my children to fly out there, so I could drive my car there.
I am a single mom and I feel like they just took advantage of me and then did not bother to set up this move at all.
