MWI Connections is HORRIBLE. I stupidly agreed to by a magazine three years ago and was 'offered' a 'trial' subscrition to this service. I never received ANY paperwork or information on this program and didn't even notice the original charge of $9.95 out of my account.
Then a year later, in I had a charge electronically withdrawn for $109.95, which caused my account to be overdrawn. After calling them NUMEROUS times, and getting NOWHERE, I FINALLY got a man to state on the phone, and I made sure he was recording it (I made him play it back to me), that although he could and did cancel my account, he could not do anything about the overdraft charges - fine, lesson learned I thought. I alse forced him, by calling every day for almost two weeks, to mail me a letter stating that my account was cancelled.
Well, you guessed it, I just looked online at my bank account, which was fine two days ago, and it's now $375 DOLLARS OVERDRAWN - MWI is trying (twice in two days now) to withdraw an even higher amount - $159.95. I'm SO ANGRY I could scream. Then, after trying to find them on the Internet again, unsuccessfully, of course the SCAM scumbags, I found this site. I had already considered finding a lawyer who might be interested in this horrible company, and now, especially after seeing the Editor's note about the lawsuit in CA, I feel much more confident in legally pursuing this unethical, immoral, scumbag-operated company in the most diligent manner possible. I am in Colorado, so if anyone else in Colorado has had the misfortune to have dealings with this sham company, please file your report on this site, and contact the Editor with your email address - he can send it to me and I'll contact you regarding the progression of my case against this company.
