Terrible return service, no credit for $100 return

I purchased a $90 part, an electronic control board, for my dishwasher from Partselect.com that an authorized Whirlpool repairman said it needed. When it arrived, he put it on, and it did not fix the problem, and he immediately removed it. I called to return it and was told if an electronic current went through it the return would be rejected. Well obviously, an electric current had to go through it when he put it on. But I got the needed return information from Partselect and sent it back. (The company said it would not send it back to me if it did not give me credit for it.) The company now says it never got it! I'm out the $96.67 for part and shipping plus the shipping cost to send it back. Since this experience, I see others complaining about returns with this company. I'm out more than a $100! I highly do not recommend doing business with this company. If your part doesn't work out, you've been had.
