On March 15 we contracted with Snapdragon. They were to provide us with 110 bonafide mortgage leads within specified area codes. They set the parameters and were generous enough to allow us to make two payments to them totaling $3,300. As soon as the final payment had reached them, the problems began.
The leads which were faxed us were totally NOT within the parameters set for our telemarketing campaign. Many were fraudulent leads to non-existing phone numbers. Others were actual numbers to people who had never talked with anyone from Snapdragon, nor anyone soliciting a mortgage.
Their personal are evasive, misdirecting, belligerant and downright rude. They pass you around with everyone telling you something different. Needless to say we are frustrated, not only at the initial loss of dollars, but the continued focus on attempting to bring at least one of their bogus leads to fruition.
Today, April 28 we have received 37 leads. All 37 are duplicates, frauds and/or basically confused individuals wondering why we are calling them. It is sort of like forced end user telemarketing!
After talking with the City of Azusa, public record reveals that Snapdragon Ventures Limited applied for a sole proprietor's business license under the name of Martin Loredo in November. Their license has not been issued yet due to lack of required signatures. Each time you ask someone at Snapdragon to put you through to their supervisor or the individual who owns the place, they tell you that it is a big corporation with multiple owners. Uh huh, right.
If you have been ripped-off by these freaks, consider contacting the City of Azusa, Community Improvement Manager via fax 626-334-5464 (voice: 626-812-5285). Tell him your story including copies of contracts, cancelled checks, faxes received and anything pertinent from Snapdragon. Also, you might want to contact your local police department or the FBI if you were contacted via fax of phone as this may constitute wire fraud.
If we unite as one voice, Snapdragon just might bite itself!
