I am currently an employee of the Eisenhower Resort in Gettysburg, PA, and I'm submitting this reports because I feel it needs to be expressed how bad the morale has been here at the resort ever since Michael Gray has been here for the last 3 or so years. This man began his tenor here yelling, screaming, exhibiting a disprespectful attitude to people who had been working here for years, firing people at will, attempting to strike fear in people's minds and hearts knowing this behavior would prove somewhat successful because the economy is bad and people need their job. Is this how Marshall Mgmt teaches those in their camp to act when new at a property? Employees would try to explain the current way things were done via the instructions of Bernie, the previous Manager from Marshall. The very word of Bernie infuriated Michael, as if everyone was trying to compare Bernie to Michael. That wasn't the case at all, but that's how this insensitive idiot Michael Gray took it. All here were hoping and praying and holding on with the hopes that the resort would be taken over to become a casino, but when the Eisenhower lost the bid, all hope was lost. We go through our days and weeks not knowing what attitude this so called General Manager/Property Manager is going to have today, or who he's going to yell at or curse at in front of everyone. Employees avoid him at all cost, or some kiss his behind to attempt to stay on his good side. He recently let go a contractual security individual who had been working the ski trips and crab fests that take place here at the resort via Easter Light Getaways for 12 years; let him go over the smallest thing. This man controlled the massive crowds on these trips by himself in a professional, but extremely effective manner, driving from CT every weekend these trips took place! His effectiveness is brought home by the fact that the previous hotel owner (Mr. Michael, who died in 2005) insisted that this man be here, which was put in the contract every year! This was backed by the previous General Managers, Banquet Manager, Front Desk Manager, bartenders, etc. His reliance is critical. But Michael Gray blew something very much out of proportion and let him go. This is how this man behaves. That is why the staff at the Crown Plaza in Hartford, CT hates his guts! Bringing down and controlling expenses aside, Marshall Mgmt but be ingnorant or clueless as to how Michael Gray treats those underneath him. I KNOW I can speak for all that work under this roof here at the Eisenhower Resort, both new and old, when I say we either wish the resort finally gets purchased, or moreso, wish that Michael Gray would dissappear!!!

FYI - don't think for a minute that outsiders, meaning guests and the public at hand has not witnessd the anticks and behavior of one Michael Gray!
