Dan Reaginresponded to an ad I posted for a hardwood floor repair project in my home. He talks a good game but apparently has little experience with home improvements. He brought a guy with him who did 98% of the work, but his helper was in over his head.
When they "finished" the project (running into the evening because of poor planning) they put some filthy bricks on top of the boards, presumably to help them stay down. I happened to move one of the bricks and realized they had strategically placed them to cover up areas of particularly shoddy workmanship.
When I could see the floor in the light of day, it was worse than I expected. Boards are popping up everywhere. The job looks like it was completed by an amature and is completely unacceptable.
