Move-A-Piano Dishonest and thoroughly incompetent piano movers!

Choose ANYONE else to move your piano, including your local plumber - I promise you that they will do a better job than MOVE-A-PIANO.com!

MOVE-A-PIANO.com moved my Yamaha C6 grand piano from Florida to San Francisco North Bay. They agreed to move it within 2 months, 0 stairs at pickup and 6 stairs at delivery. Here is what happened:

Three months after a HUGE amount of chasing, they finally picked it up in Florida. Two guys in a truck then turned up at my home in San Francisco to move a 7 ft grand up 6 stairs! They obviously couldn't physically do this so they asked my permission to reverse an 18-wheeler truck up the paved walkway to my front door. I refused, due to the very good chance that they would crack the paving, leaving me with the repair bill. They then called MOVE-A-PIANO who promised to send additional people the next day.

The next day they were back again but with no additional people. So they left, with my piano in the back of the truck, to Seattle! And then to Utah. And then to Los Angeles! Where they finally deposited my piano at someone's private house!

Weeks later, after numerous phone calls were made, MOVE-A-PIANO.com finally agreed to redeliver the piano... For an additional $500 "redelivery fee". This time 3 guys turned up to move a 7' grand piano (that is a dead weight of around 300 lbs each...). The piano was delivered scratched and damaged (see attached photos). These were not just surface scratches, but numerous chunks out of the wood!

Bottom line... You would have to be criminally stupid to choose to use these guys!!!
