Dear Sir,
We are mere exporter of Indian leather goods and
like to inform you that we do had the opportunity to
receive an order dated July 3rd for US$8165.00
from TOTAL INCENSES LTD., 849, South Broadway, Suite
No. 401, Los Angeles, CA 90014, U.S.A. Fax No.
0213623 0801 for genuine leather goods on 20 days
D/A basis through Bank - Habib American Bank, 110E
9th Street, Los Angles, CA-90079, U.S.A.
We have execute their order of amount US$7072.50
only, and the same being air freighted under Air
Canada air waybill no. 014-82265455 dated August
22nd, and the consignee was their Banker and
made the notify to the buyer concern.
The respective documents has been submitted to our
Banker - Corporation Bank, Dharamatolla Branch, 9,
Lenin Sarani, Kolkata - 700 013, India and same
being forwarded to the Habib American Bank, Under
reference no. ECFC 21580451dated August 29th
for collection.
Today more than two years have completed and we
do not have the opportunity to receive the payment
from the Habib American Bank inspite of taking
delivery of the ordered goods from the airlines
concern.
Our Bankers has sent several reminders but the Habib
American Bank do not responded to our plea
initially.in between they have informed our bankers
that the party has made payment directly to the
consignee which is not true. We have already informed
this to the Habib American Bank through our Bankers:
Corporation Bank.
Under the circumstances, we do not have any
resources to help us in these regards to realise the
payment and perhaps you are well aware about the
legal proceedings, which will take by our Govt. For
not realization of the said payment.
We approach to your goodselves for kind help and
cooperation for avoids the litigation, which we are
going to face without any fault of ours.
The necessary documents will be courier to you on
hearing from you affirmatively.
Your kind and valued cooperation in this matter will
be highly appreciated.
