Tracfone
Assigned me a cell phone number that's not local. Ripoff!

The assigned cell phone number is not local.
When calling my cell phone from my house using regular phone it requires dialing "1" and is toll charged.

I reported the problem immeadiatly and was told:

"We have researched your account regarding the phone number that has been issued to your Tracfone. It has been determined that Tracfone has issued you the best number available in your area. The phone number that you have been assigned, is a local phone number in your area."

I talked to my local phone company and was told that the number I was given is NOT LOCAL.
