We purchased a puppy from Joe under the agreement that we would have a one week trial period with a full refund to see how she would react with our small dog. Joe agreed to this but said that we shouldn't have a problem as he never had anyone return a puppy before.
When we picked up the puppy, she smelled awful. She had been sleeping and laying in her own feces. Joe 'forgot' to bring her paperwork, and records and said that he would send it to me. He never did. When we got home I bathed the puppy twice and still couldn't get out the smell.
After a few days of attacks on our small dog and injuring him, we decided that this was not the right dog for us. I called Joe and he told me that it wouldn't be a problem because he still had other people interested in her and would call me the next day. He never called back.
I called him and emailed him for two weeks trying to set up a time to return the puppy and he became very rude and began to avoid my calls and emails. He finally said that he would not take the dog back even though he agreed to, and yet still refused to provide me with her papers.
